Our Story
We are a community where faith comes alive, hope is restored, and love is shared freely.
ABOUT US
A Church Built on Belonging
Grace Community started in 2008 with a handful of people meeting in a living room. We had no building, no budget, and no certainty about what we were doing — only a conviction that the city needed a place where anyone could walk through the door and feel genuinely welcome. Seventeen years later, that conviction hasn't changed.
Today, Grace Community is home to hundreds of people from every background, life stage, and story. We gather on Sunday mornings to worship, to hear Scripture taught honestly, and to be reminded that none of us are doing this alone. During the week, we scatter across the city in small groups, ministries, and ordinary moments of community.
We're not trying to be the biggest church in the city. We're trying to be the most faithful one — faithful to the gospel, faithful to our neighbors, and faithful to the people who trust us with their Sunday mornings and their hardest questions.

WHAT DRIVES US
Our Core Values
These values shape everything we do, from Sunday services to community outreach.
Scripture First
Everything we teach, decide, and do is tested against the Bible. We want God's Word to shape our community — not the other way around.

Radical Belonging
Grace Community is a place where you are welcome before you have answers, before you're certain, and before you're ready.

Honest Community
We believe real community requires real honesty. We're building a church where people can tell the truth about their lives — and be met with grace, not judgment.

Generosity as a Way of Life
Generosity isn't just about money — it's a posture toward the world. We're building a culture where people give freely of their time, resources, and attention, because we've been freely given to.

Faithful Presence
We believe the church exists for the city, not just for itself. We're committed to showing up in our neighborhoods — serving, listening, and caring for the people around us.

Next Generation Focus
We take children and teenagers seriously — not as the future of the church, but as the church right now. Investing in the next generation is one of our highest priorities.

Our Beliefs
Grounded in Scripture. Open to Questions.
Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God — the foundation for how we know God, understand ourselves, and navigate life.

God
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, each distinct, and each involved in our lives.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully human. That he lived a sinless life, died in our place, rose from the dead, and is returning to make all things new.

Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guides the church, and produces in us the character, love, and courage we could never manufacture on our own.

Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift — received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned through effort or achievement. Grace is not a figure of speech. It's the whole point.

The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ — people from every nation, background, and story, gathered together by the gospel and sent out into the world.

Resurrection & Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the return of Christ — that history is heading somewhere, and that God will make all things right.
